Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, he spearheads efforts to drive inclusive and sustainable
development across the continent. His leadership is guided by a powerful vision: a unified,
prosperous, and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and becoming a dynamic force on the
global stage.
H. E Ambassador Dr. Stephen Gbatigbi Ben-Joel has recently been appointed as a member of the Supreme Council and Special Envoy to the African Union on African Affairs for the United World Congress of Diplomats (UN-WCD), headquartered in the United Kingdom. This prestigious appointment recognizes his exceptional contributions to diplomacy and African development. In addition, Ambassador Stephen has been honored with two honorary doctorate degrees—one in Diplomacy and International Relations, and another in Technology—further acknowledging his expertise and leadership in these fields.
